Two awesome sponsors have joined in the fun, and have offered great
prizes to select Pickem winners.
www.ThrowBackMax.com is sponsoring a
$40.00 gift certificate good for anything in the store! ThrowBackMax
specializes in quality apparel from the forgotten days of sports. The
logos they use have been rendered in high-quality detail, and they are printed
on comfortable t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodys. Keep an eye on this one,
pickers, because they're about to introduce two great new lines in the Football
Department. Though we're not at liberty to say, trust us when we tell you
that all of you football history fans will love what's to come. The $40.00
certificate will cover any item in the store, plus shipping. The
certificate will be emailed with a confirmation code to the email address of the
winner.
www.dallascowboysheaven.com is
also sponsoring a prize, which will be given to the top Cowboy fan picker in the
bunch! If you're a cowboys fan and you haven't visited this site yet, you
need to get over there, ASAP. The site is just starting out, but is
growing quickly. It features a forum, chat, team shop, and the latest news
feed from Google. The administrator of the site is our own Texasdreamer1.
Give a shout out to both sites, and tell them that we sent you!! And while
you're waiting to win one of these prizes, don't forget to pick something up for
the Mrs. or Mr. throughout the year.

We've added some more of our prizes to the Prize Vault.
We'll be adding more in the days and weeks to come.

For returning players, welcome back. For new ones, welcome to our game.
As always, we're accepting prize donations by any authors, collectors, or
otherwise. Last year's prize roundup included over 50 prizes. Some
didn't get a prize because there was nothing left that they wanted. I'm
sorry to all of the Jaguar fan(s) out there, I just can't find much memorabilia
on your team :-)
If you have a prize to offer, for any team, please email me at
admin@nflhistory.net. Some of
the more popular items are magazines (such as SI), media guides, books (in any
condition), memorabilia (any team/any player, past or present), clothing, and
trading cards. Check out the Prize Vault to
see what we have so far. This list, of course, will grow as the season
wears on.
You'll notice that we went with a
black and white logo this year. This IS, after all, a football history
site, so it is fitting (and not a bit lazy <wink>). Overall, I hope that
you've found that the logos have improved throughout the years. Here's a
quick run-down of what they were:
The Original - 2002
The Lombardi - 2003
The Stadium - 2004
The Face-off - 2005
